职位描述
Division: Supply Chain
Staff Level: 4 (Division Manager)
Reports to: General Manager
Location: Hangzhou
Job Purpose
The Supply Chain Manager is the person in charge of all the Company supply chain service of supplier development & management, purchasing (except price negotiation), door to door logistics in order to meet Company production schedule and shipping arrangement & following. This person is tasked with the responsibility of ensuring that all product material can be provide with good quality and the products can be delivered to clients in time with an efficient & lean supply chain always.
Key Responsibilities
1. Set up, monitor, and continuously improve best practices/SOP in supply chain service adapting to changes in products and/or clients portfolio, which includes supplier development & management, purchasing (except price negotiation) and shipping etc.
2. Establishing the policies about the supplier management method and the evaluation system etc.; to make sure the supplier can support the company steadily and reliably with good quality; following up and coordinating with suppliers for production and delivery planning.
3. Making out the corresponding purchasing plan (suppliers & quantities) according to customers orders, production plan and the product development schedule, and supporting GM to negotiate with suppliers to finalize supply contracts or shipment contract and drive higher efficiency & cost savings all the time.
4. Communicate with the Production Division to set up proper, reasonable & efficient logistics/ transportation plan utilizing overseas shipping, inland road, inland water, train etc. freight forwarding companies as well as with shipping companies directly if necessary.
5. Making arrangement and managing the product shipments in and out, and checking on site if & when necessary.
6. Monitoring shipping and delivery to meet customers requirements.
7. Cooperate with the Custom Compliance requirements ensuring compliance to all applicable law and regulations; investigate potential risk and other matters of logistics, and provide and implement solutions.
8. Establishing the Division, defining staff requirements, interview candidates, select and hire same.
9. Preparing regular reports and performance statistics for management review.
10. Perform additional duties as directed by superior.
Requirements
1. Bachelor degree or above in logistics, supply chain, international trader related disciplines.
2. 5+ years experience in supply chain management, purchasing and/or other relevant position with in-depth understanding of the technologies, functions, business and the industry.
3. Experience in a job in the sanitary ceramics market or related industries are preferred.
4. Familiar with various transportation methods via freight forwarding companies as well as shipping companies.
5. Very good communication and interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with internal customers and external suppliers.
6. Hard working, very good team spirits, excellent data analysis capability, well organized and self-disciplinary.
7. Good knowledge of computer systems, high skill set in using Microsoft Office Software, i.e., Access, ERP and/or others.
8. Fluent English with listening, oral, reading and writing ability.
9. Must possess a high degree of integrity.
10. Can work independently with good problem solving skills.
