HSS Guangzhou, we are mainly providing Fund administration service, delivering solutions to life insurance companies, pension funds, investment managers and fund owners.

Role Purpose
The role holder will be proactively dealt, as required, with service delivery unit globally within Fund Services, system models and various HSBC IT units to ensure smooth implementation of the Business As Usual (BAU) changes related to the core A&V systems such as Multifonds, reporting systems and workflow system, starting from a Subject Matter Expert (SME) of project initial phase , workflow design, user support, testing and reporting, up to execution of static data maintenance, quality assurance, and eventually the successful roll out of change to meet regulatory requirement, client expectation, or achieve process improvement for efficiency gain.
Job Description
Impact on the Business/Function
- Act as the Business Analyst of HSS FA projects
- Understanding and familiarizing with Multifonds, MIS, PRS, Automated Work Distributor (AWD), including the architecture, development tools, business usage and workflow design
- Review change requirement from different business units. Advise the best solution to achieve balance between cost and efficiency, complying with the global product strategy.
- Provide effort estimate, resolve clash of priorities by discussion with user(s) of respective location
- By working with business user, understand and clarify workflow requirement, and communicate with business user on requirements which are not achievable within the FA systems
- Participate in workgroup meeting and provide regular update on project progress to management attention
- Maintain proper documentation and filing record related to project implementation, conforming to audit requirements, and internal/bank standards

- Providing prompt acknowledgements to FA requests
- Learn and understand the business drivers for the Fund accounting Business
- Efficiently & effectively responding to business queries by being the first point of contacts
- Build robust and open business relationships with stakeholders
?Leadership & Teamwork
- Propose recommendation and seek supports
- Work with teammates and cross teams in onshore and offshore service centers on FA platform change projects.
?Operational Effectiveness & Control
- To implement the operational risk management policies and controls in the relevant processes
- To assist in manage operational risk, including its identification, assessment, mitigation and control, loss identification and reporting
任职资格:
- Applicant should have a Bachelor’s Degree in computer science, business or related discipline
- 1-3 years experiences in industry with demonstrated ability in project management or business analysis
- Basic knowledge in fund services operation is definitely an advantage
- Excellent problem solving skills & the ability to find logical solutions to problems
- A sound level of PC literacy and knowledge of standard office tools
- Possess good analytical mindset with good presentation and communication skills
- Strong self-motivation and be able to work under pressure
- Assertive, with a positive attitude and an open mind
- Excellent interpersonal and team work skills
- Willingness to learn new system, business processes and product knowledge
- Be able prioritize tasks from the workload without impacting the deliverables. Highly organized.
- Demonstrated time management skills and commitment to achieve deadlines
- Fluent English is a must
- Evidence of excellent verbal, written communication and presentation skills
- 1 – 2 years hands-on experience in Microsoft Office programming and automation (VBA in MS Access and MS Excel) would be an added advantage
