Position: Digital Modeler - Beijing
Company presentation:
This international automotive OEM has 80 years of existence, employing 200,000 staff worldwide and producing over 3 million vehicles annually.
The studio was established in Beijing in 2010 and is continuously growing its teams. They are working on both production and conceptual projects, scale to full-size models.
You will be part of the clay and digital team and will receive continuous mentoring to grow professionally.
Responsibilities:
- Develop 3D renderings accurately from designer sketches, following verbal direction and engineering constraints.
- Work on interior and exterior projects for concept and production vehicles.
- Work on styling and class-A projects as required.
- Follow the entire modeling development process from concept to production approval in the set deadline.
Requirements:
- Five to ten years as a digital modeler in the automotive industry.
- Design, engineering and diverse model development knowledge required.
- Team player with excellent communication skill.
- Alias knowledge is required. Icem Surf or UG NX is a plus.
- English language required. Chinese and Japanese language a plus.
- Digital design expertise required. Class-A surfacing experience a plus.
