Job Description:
Primary responsibility is the management of the delivery and support of the Broadcom information technology/systems/applications for the China offices. The candidate is responsible for service delivery and customer satisfaction, in a mode consistent with the corporate franchise environment and architecture. The candidate will be responsible for documentation, deployment and troubleshooting of the complete local IT Windows environment including, but not limited to: NT/W2K Servers, NT/W2K Services (Exchange, Active Directory, CITRIX, WINS, DHCP...), desktop/laptops and associated software, Network Appliance Fileservers, Tape Libraries, Cisco routers and switches, wireless infrastructure, firewalls, Avaya/Cisco PBX telecommunications infrastructure. Provide effective 7x24x365 IT supports in the areas of Windows and Networking. Provide resource usage information to the Business groups and collect forecasting information for planning growth and expansion.

Job Requirements:
College degree, preferably a B.S. in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field, six to eight years direct experience in Windows systems administration. The candidate must be a team player, with excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interface with internal/external customers, vendors, management etc. in both formal and informal situations. Ability to communicate ideas and "product" direction, to collect user requirements from "the customer", and participate in issue escalation is a must. He/she must be able to work in stressful situations and must understand the value of a standardized, centrally managed environment. The candidate will act as the site liaison and to work with local business management and business unit to ensure we have an IT infrastructure that is capable of supporting the business and at the same time providing them with frequent communication about any changes to the environment, resource issues and problems encounter. The candidate must be fluent in English language both in verbal and written form.
