Your tasks:

• Monitor and Analyze the patents in the specialty glass area and generate picture on the IP strategy of key competitors in the region, and make proper proposal to strengthen the IP position in specific area;

• Coordinate and synergize the local IP activities of different application areas, by closely working with the teams of application engineering, and provide relevant support during the initiation, drafting and filing of IPs;

• Support and coordinate the IP activities of regional factories and business units based on the requests;

• Prepare reports and presentations, with high quality standard and time measures.

• Follow strictly company policy including EHS, equipment maintenance, lab 5s and compliance and take personal responsibility based on the department guideline.  

Your profile:

• Master or PhD. in Materials, Chemistry, Physics or Engineering, with >2 year working experience and demonstrated strong capability on IP analysis

• Comprehensive knowledge on drafting and filing IPs   

• Effective interpersonal communication and presentation skills

• Problem solving capability in a dynamic environment

• Self-motivated with good organization skills

• Fluent in English and Chinese, with both written and oral communication skills
