· Responsible for developing and setup of testing for electromechanical equipments.

· Must have a hands-on approach and not afraid to get dirty.

· Develop procedures and setup cycle tests.

· Program PLC's to interface with various sensors and switches.

· Test and inspect machines and work with engineering to eliminate problems

· Participate in new product design/review, continuous improvement and support of ongoing testing activities.

· Review specific industry ANSI, UL and CSA standards and be able to apply them to product testing.

· Support the interface between design and manufacturing on new product development

· Produce documentation including test procedures, test reports, and other reports

· Successful candidate will demonstrate mature judgment, inherent safe attitude and a positive, team-oriented approach

· Must work in a clean and organized manner with Safety as a primary objective.

QUALIFICATIONS:

· Diploma in any of the following areas

o Mechanical engineering technology

o Electro-Mechanical engineering technician

o Mechanical technician

· 3 years experience in an assembly, test or maintenance field on electromechanical products.

· Hands on experience with hydraulics, electrical circuits and programming PLC's.

· Must be capable of using measuring instruments

· Excellent computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office

· Must have a self motivated work ethic

· Creative, detail-oriented individual capable of juggling multiple tasks and self starting.

· Candidate must be able to work with a team or alone as the need arises

Problem-solving skills are a must.
