Description

-Work in an international R&D center with a dynamic, stimulating environment, competitive compensation and plenty of opportunities to grow professionally, in an organization providing digital set-top box, digital mobile TV, and broadband networking products.
-Activities will include:
- Analysis of customer requirements.
- Creation of the detailed product hardware definition.
- Feasibility study on complex technical blocks, managing execution of the designs
(e.g.: schematic capture, lay-out, hardware testing, regulatory).
- Management (technical, quality, schedule) of external ODM partners who will be part of the execution of the design and performing volume manufacturing.
- Hardware debug support for the driver- and firmware- engineers in system development.

Education and Skills

-Master's degree (or similar by experience) in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
-3+ years experience in hardware design and development of embedded systems. (CPE, customer premises equipment). Example: PC-mother board, Ethernet router,...
-Experience in hardware design and development of STB products is a strong plus.
-Experience managing an external ODM or major component sub-contractor is a strong plus.
-Project management experience is a strong plus.
-Quality management experience is a plus.
-Experience and good understanding of DVB systems is a strong plus.
-Familiarity with MPEG standard and experience with MPEG decoder design is a strong plus.
-Experience with high-speed PCB design and RF circuitry is a plus.
-Experience with regulatory aspects (EMC, EMI, ESD, surges, ) is a requirement.
-Experience with networking products is a strong plus.
-Good communication skills in English and Chinese.
