JOB SUMMARY:

As a supporting functional role, he/she will support Executive Sr. Director to develop PR/Digital/Social strategy and work with CRM team to develop store engagement activation. and is responsible for execution performance to deliver overall marketing objective. He/she will also work with brand director to ensure the budget forecast, communication assets development, and daily operations are fully aligned with each brand’s marketing/commercial planning and executions.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Public Relations:

  • Demonstrates strategic thinking in strategy,planning, timelines and budget management throughout the year.
  • Works with Executive Sr. Director to develop annual/seasonal/monthlyPR communication calendar and media pitch plan for brand storytelling andproduct communications.
  • Manages PR agency, sets performancemeasurements, responsible for agency performance
  • Shows creative thinking and actively seek opportunitiesand execute to build brand credibility and drive sales.
  • Manages good relations with localtrend/fashion/lifestyle media:
    • regularly invites mediato visit showroom, and strategically provides/seeds products for media pitchand editorials to drive business results.
    • ensure that Gap and OldNavy. Brand’s products should appear in every relevant media title withsignificant exposure (at least half page) in premium section or front pages.
    • pitch fashion storiesfor product exposure to build fashion credibility for Gap and Old Navy.
  • Develop brief for media pitch,including strategy/target publication/editorial topics & angles on annual /seasonal / monthly basis.
  • Brief and manages seasonal media events,responsible for creative assets/communications materials development, eventexecutions and results, budget management, and post buy and report.
  • Works with Brand Manager, Merchant/IM, VM, CorpPR team to create and manage compelling seasonal press previews that supportseasonal marketing concepts and messages and deliver key product stories.
  • Proofreads and confirms all locally developed PRPress Kit and communication materials to media/KOL.
  • Develops andproofreads all media and KOL coop contents: editorials, videos, advertorials, socialposts, etc.
  • ReportsPR performance with strong media clippings on bi-weekly and monthly basis forGap and Old Navy.
  • Organizesmonthly review meeting with PR agencies, inviting Executive Sr. Director andBrand Managers.
  • Develops strong cross functional relationships – influence and leverage PR successes across organization
  • Key person responsible for organizing and managing incoming (receipt and check-in)and outgoing samples deliveries, ensuring sample rooms and showrooms are kept clean, organized and well managed.
  • Facilitatesdelivery of marketed samples for key events such as media preview, company /sponsored events.
  • Efficiently manages budgets on all PR activities whilst maintaining high standards for executions and aiming to achieve set performance measurements and ROI.
  • Reportsbudget forecast on monthly basis and ensures the forecast is on track withfinance report.
  • Responsibleand ensures PR contracts/work orders/finance process fully follow companypolicy.

Digital & Social Marketing

  • Lead and drive agency to develop cohesive strategy and execution plan for social media, digital activation, and digital media. Sets performance measurements, responsible for agency performance.
  • Fully responsible for social contents development,creative development and production, performance tracking, measurementanalysis, back-end management, strategic solution to drive traffic togap.cn/hk/tw, and post buy analysis and report.
  • Develops Digital/Social content strategies and go live contents plan. Responsible for development of detailed annual/seasonal/monthly Digital/Social communication calendar and tailor-make contents with acute knowledge of local social languages and trends and with full understanding of local cultural contexts.
  • Develops briefs, creates timelines, manages executions and budget to deliver each brand’s marketing plan with emphasis on Digital/Social contents efforts.
  • Fully responsible for weekly WeChat posts.
  • Develops digital/social activation that drive O2O traffics.
    • Responsible forcommunication with Store Operations / Field / IT / CRM / e-com and key businesspartners
    • Work withe-com to develop tracking methodology, reviews tracking report on daily basisand makes timely adjustment for optimization. Include traffic and sales resultsin post buy analysis.
    • Works with CRM team on developing tailor-made contents for segmented loyalty members.Proactively partners with CRM team to generate coupons and design redeem process for Digital/Social activation's. Includes coupon distribution,redemption, and sales contribution in post buy analysis.
  • Understands competitive set, monitors and analyzes their digital and social activities on an ongoing basis, passing along pertinent information in a timely manner to key stakeholders.
  • Develops and manage good relationships with Digital/Social/KOL in Greater China.
  • Develops strong cross functional relationships, influence and leverage Digital/Social successes across organization
  • Efficientlymanages budgets on all Digital/Social activities whilst maintaining highstandards for executions and aiming to achieve set performance measurements andROI.
  • Reports budget forecast on monthly basis and ensures the forecast is on track with finance report.
  • Responsible and ensures Digital/Social contracts/work orders/finance process fully follow the company policy.
  • Has strong local Digital/Social media knowledge, understands media-tracking methodology, review sand evaluates tracking reports in a timely manner to optimize performance.


CRM Marketing


  • Work with CRM team to develop CRMprogram, to successfully enhance consumer loyalty and retention rate
  • Initiate targeted CRM programs inalignment with the brand image to improve customer experience
  • To create efficient multi-channel CRMcampaigns.
  • Work with CRM team to analyze thebusiness and customer status regularly.





QUALIFICATIONS:

1) Required knowledge, skills & abilities:

  • Initiative: Ability to lead identify and capitalizeon opportunities with emphasis on PR/Digital/Social media.
  • Ethics: independent but also team player. Roll upsleeves to work on detailed executions. An agile self-starter,results-orientated, has strong sense of accountability and ownership. Able todeal with ambiguity. Proactive thinker.

  • Communications: Fluent listening, speaking,reading, and writing communication skills in Mandarin and English.

  • Language: Native or bilingual proficiency in Mandarinand English. Able to comprehends and understand the nuance of Chinese culturecontexts and local customer insight/behavior in respective region (MainlandChina, Hong Kong, Taiwan)
  • Work experience: Managing PR& Event/Digital/Social/CRM for international brands in Greater China is preferable.
  • Passion: For Retail and fashion.

2) Minimum Education Level

  • Bachelor’s degree or above.

3) Experience Required

  • 10+ years of 360-degree marketing experience,preferably in consumer goods, retail, fashion, apparel, or cosmetics.
  • Project management skills.
  • Influence communication skills.
