Job description & Responsibilities:
Required Knowledge, skills and competencies:
- Bachelor of Computer Science or Science in Engineering. A Master degree is encouraged.
-3-5 years' experience in Software Engineering, especially C++ development using Object-Oriented Design methodology. The experience of team lead or project lead is encouraged.
- At least 3 years' experience in developing on UNIX/Linux platform
-Experience in Python, Qt and PostgreSQL will be encouraged.
-Good command of English in speech and writing, fluent oral English is plus
To participate in all activities, with emphasis on requirement specification, design, implementation, testing and documentation, whilst following company standards by:
- Develop prototypes
- Develop specifications
- Develop the designs of the software
- Maintaining and refactoring of legacy code base
- Writes and maintain design document
- Implement unit test
- Review product deliverables(code and software related documents) continuously
-Resolves problem reports
- Educates and trains co-workers on product and technology issues, when requested.
-Obtains specific knowledge on portions of projects by performing project research alone or with little supervision.
-Participate in video conference call with the team in Sweden, or organize the conference if necessary.
- Coordinates and guide the developers in Shanghai, with the Sweden teams to accomplish assignments.
-Work closely with oversea team in using e-mail and video conference call
-To perform evaluations of technologies, methodologies and product
-Awareness of best practice within software engineering
- Collect, build and maintain current working knowledge of the technical and quality
