GENERAL PURPOSE

This position is responsible for product & process auditing and final inspection in our suppliers, monitoring out of box inspections performed by suppliers and managing the containment, disposition, and corrective action activities for process audit & inspection rejects and customer complaints.

DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES

1. Perform product & process audits, maintain the audit data in SAP and drive continually improvement activities based on the audit findings

2. Work on the projects of self-inspection to support and monitor suppliers' performance and customers' inspections including download the lots #, review the reports, maintain the inspection data in SAP, monitor or perform the inspection on national customers' products as necessary;.

3. Analyze data from customer feedback, source inspection, product & process audits, and provide feedback to the responsible functional groups to ensure that corrective actions are assigned as appropriate;

4. Involve in the phase gate reviews for the 1st mass production by process auditing and inspection;

5. Follow up the implementation of ECO( Engineering changes order) at the factory;

6. In coordination with regulatory compliance team, work with suppliers on the process related to regulatory compliance of company products.

7. Determine the need for and coordinate containment and corrective action activities for rejects and customer complaints;

8. Participate in cross-functional or department meetings as necessary

9. Consistently support compliance by maintaining the privacy and confidentiality of information, protecting the assets of the organization, acting with ethics and integrity, reporting non-compliance, and adhering to applicable laws and regulations

10. Understand workplace hazards and take steps to proactively prevent and report hazards or injuries in the workplace. Cooperate in Safety Programs, initiatives, and investigations.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Essential Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:

1. Ability to communicate effectively (verbally and written)

2. Can read and understand the product documentations in English

3. Excellent interpersonal skills with basic management ability

4. Good computer and database skills with proficiency in using the internet and Microsoft Office suite of software including Word, Excel and Outlook (or related e-mail system)

5. Ability to interpret standards, specifications, procedures, and drawings

6. Mechanical aptitude

7. Proven ability to solve problems

8. Proven ability to use gages and basic metrology tools

9. Proven ability to present facts and recommendations effectively in oral and written form

10. Proven ability to work independently and as a member of a team

11. Ability to demonstrate flexible and efficient time management and to appropriately prioritize workload based upon organization or department needs

12. Be detail-oriented and have excellent follow-through skills

Minimum Education and Experience Required:

1. Associates or technical degree and a minimum of five (5) years work experience in a quality function at a manufacturing company; or combination of relevant education and experience

Special Job Requirements:

1. Must be available for long, varied work hours at times

Preferred Qualifications:

1. Knowledge of sheet-metal manufacturing, powder painting processes and die cast process and Audio /Video furniture industry

2. Experience with ISO9001/ISO14001

3. Experience with SAP quality module

4. Experience with UL/TUV/RoHS/CPSIA/REACH
