职位描述：
Position Summary:
The Field Applications Engineer supports the development of new products and applications, the promotion of existing products, and the investigation of new applications for existing products through an understanding of the customer base and direct communication between the customer, sales, engineering, manufacturing, and other internal departments.

Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Lead and work on applications related projects that demonstrate or improve product capabilities, both in-house and with industry partners.
2. Assist resolution of major customer issues, including developing action plans and guiding the actions of R&D and field engineers.
3. Provide routine technical support to Liquid Package products (Nowpak and drum) and back up Sensing control and dispense product.
4. Introduce new products internally and at key customers, including providing detailed training and over site of evaluations.
5. Provide application-related validations and supporting data to Product Marketing and R&D engineering.
6. Create technical papers, presentations and applications notes to promote products in industry conferences publications, and technical forums.
7. Advise Product Marketing and R&D on key industry trends and opportunities.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
1. Able to work with limited supervision and complete assignments without established procedures.
2. Able to work on problems that are complex in nature, where judgment is required in resolving problems and making recommendations.
3. Knowledge and experience in safe working practices for both laboratory and wafer manufacturing environments.
4. Good team skills in both leadership and worker roles.
5. Strong knowledge of packaging product, Litho or FPD process , Photo resist or Chemical and relates experience.
6. Strong problem solving skills, creativity, and curiosity.
7. Excellent English skills with both oral and written. Able to communicate effectively through conversation, oral presentations, and written reports.

Education and Experience:
1. Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering, Electronics, Chemical or highly related field.
2. Minimum of five years relate of Semiconductor or FPD Litho experience; or Chemical and Photo Resist company experience to perform the duties of the job.
3. Capable traveling with an independent work capabilities.
4. Excellent communication planning, organizational and leadership skills.
5. Flexibility to adapt to work environment, work force, and customers’ needs.
6. Computer literacy with Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook.

Working Environment:
1. Laboratory, manufacturing, and office environments, including work with potentially hazardous chemicals and equipment.
2. Domestic and international travel is required, up to 30% annually.

Physical Demands:
Physical effort normally found in lab, manufacturing, and office environments.
