Fast growing US company focused on the supply of medical and healthcare related products to the US market. We are currently seeking a Sourcing Manager working at Guangzhou office in executing global sourcing and supplier management.

Title: Sourcing Manager
Location: Guangzhou

Overview:
Work as part of a team to develop new items, manage all orders and secure supplier development. Be responsible for sampling, price development, test approval, quality improvement and on time shipment assurance. Manage supplier relationship and explore possible business opportunities with all suppliers.

Job description:
        Manage product development of samples, pricing, cost reduction plans and daily business practices to meet the deadline of RFQ.
        Work with QC team and Logistic team to insure the quality and on time delivery.
        Source new suppliers on pricing, term negotiation and product developments.
        Identify potential product and production issues to minimize the risk of on time delivery and quality problems.
        Track and review product development processes and provide updates to associated internal stakeholders.
Qualifications:
        2 - 5 years sourcing experience in a wide range of products including those made from textiles, injection mold plastics, glass, wood and foam etc. Familiarity healthcare items, FDA regulation and search, international export, particularly in the US market, will be a plus.
        Able to handle large number of projects simultaneously and solve problems independently.
        Strong communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills.
        Ability to read engineering drawings, basic quality control knowledge, ISO and product inspection experience would be an asset.
        Self-driven, detail oriented, and motivated to work effectively with minimal supervision. Integrity and honest character is a must
        A proven track record of successful contract & price negotiations;
        Proficient in spoken and written English
        Some travel required (20-30%)
