Senior Lean Specialist

RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Partner closely with all business stakeholders such as Product Development/Engineering, Supply Chain/Operations, Sourcing, Quality Management, Finance/Accounting, Sales/Marketing to identify and drive productivity, quality and cycle time improvement initiatives through the disciplined use of Lean and Kaizen methodologies;
2. Apply analytics and systems thinking to analyse data, identify emerging trends and turn the data into actionable business information/insights;
3. Utilize performance management, problem solving, and Lean and Kaizen process methodology toolsets as well as training and influence skills to achieve specific organizational change and financial objectives;
4. Execute the implementation of continuous process improvements using Lean methodology. Senior Specialist also identifies and recommends process improvement opportunities;
5. Partner with IT to efficiently develop and implement business solutions which deliver better key performance metrics and productivity ;
6. Drive the definition, implementation and ongoing tracking of key performance metrics and year-over-year productivity. Senior Specialist supervises the definition and the implementation while Specialist does the tracking;
7. Design and develop dashboards which visualize and present key metrics in a way that contributes to insights and clear communication with the business;
8. Design and deliver various training programs together with the Manager on Lean awareness, Kaizen tools, Lean culture, and Lean implementation;

QULIFICATIONS:
1. Bachelor Degree or above in Management / Engineering or equivalent qualification;
2. Lean Specialist or Black Belt in Lean Six Sigma is strongly preferred;
3. At least 8 years solid experience in implementing Lean and Kaizen in productivity, quality, lead time improvement projects in the office and shopfloor for multinational companies;
4. Independent and strong initiative for driving Kaizen activities;
5. Demonstrated successful cases of Lean and Kaizen planning, rollout and implementation;
6. Experienced with implementing Lean in product development, supply chain, logistics, and shopfloor;
7. Good presentation, communication and persuasion skills;
8. Frequent travels to the factories are required.
