Job Description:
The Power Supply Design Engineer is responsible for Power Supply hardware design and corresponding verifications. You should give proper power supply solution, prepare schematics and ensure the layout quality.
Main challenge is to make the design more power efficiency, smaller and cheaper meanwhile keep the good quality.
1. Power supply design according to system requirement.
2. Perform Trouble Shooting during higher level system integration.
3. Technical specification, design guideline and related documents for new solution.
4. Ensures the design is in accordance with EMC certification or other regulations.
5. New technology research and implementation in pre-development project.
Qualifications:
1. Education background: Bachelor degree or above majored in EE or related area.
2. Work experience: >5 year in Power design
3. Specific Skills, knowledge and competencies: (Options from below list)
- Familiar with basic AC/DC and DC/DC topologies and hand-on experience on power circuit design, such as Buck/Forward/Full Bridge/ Resonant/ZVT etc.
- Familiar with basic power test cases such as voltage ripple, dynamic response, efficiency and bode plot.
- Proven experience on EMC design and verifications.
- Familiar with power loss and tolerance analysis with MathCAD, Excel or other tools.
- Experience with mass production product is highly preferred.
- Familiar with POE/Remote DC power supply design is plus
4. General competencies:
- Proactive & Initiative.
- Good communication and presentation skills.
- Good team-work for cooperation.
- Quick learning and problem solving skills.
5. Language Ability: fluent in both oral and written English.
