BASIC FUNCTION / GENERAL DESCRIPTION:
Supply Chain Manager is responsible for global sourcing from China, including elevator and/or escalator products. He/she will leverage Otis China suppliers, contract, pricing and terms to manage sourcing from China for Otis sites located outside of China. He/she is also responsible to conduct landed cost analysis, including component cost, logistics, import/export tax, duty & handling charges; drive compliance with ITC and import requirements; supplier selection, capacity management, supplier performance, etc.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Utilizing UTC & Otis supply chains standard work and tools, and in collaboration with the Otis China supply chain team, provide strategic leadership and oversight for sourcing needs of Otis sites outside of China. Identify strategy and approach to map current China sourcing needs and manage China sourcing to meet business objectives and customer satisfaction.
2. Lead the creation of the sourcing strategy, supplier market assessment, evaluation, and supplier selection process supporting Otis sites outside of China, leveraging Otis China existing products and suppliers, in support of current product sourcing needs and new product introductions.
3. Identify qualified Otis China suppliers for optimization and/or consolidation opportunity
4. In collaboration with Otis sites outside of China and Otis China supplier quality team, define China sourcing supplier performance and quality requirements, and manage supplier KPIs for sites outside of China.
5. Lead DIVE/RRCA for suppliers’ delivery issues and lead quality corrective action plans.
6. Liaise with legal/IP to ensure existing LTA T&Cs adequately cover China overseas sourcing in supplier contract.
7. Establish landed cost estimates and detailed cost breakdown covering purchased parts ex-works pricing, leveraging Otis China negotiated price when possible, and define MOQ & export packaging requirements, import/export tax & duties and freight.
8. Responsible for supplier risk management reviews, escalation to key stakeholders and leadership, and responsibility to develop and execute mitigation plans.
9. Develop and deploy supply chain management standard work for China sourcing.
10. Comply with Otis EHS policy and requirements in supplier selection & development activities; continuously improve EHS performance of suppliers and awareness of Otis employees.
11. Comply with Otis Internal Control policy and requirements.
12. In all areas of responsibility, the incumbent is responsible for providing full compliance with the "UTC Policy Statement on Contracting with the United States Government" and the "UTC Code of Ethics".

EDUCATION: MS degree in business, supply chain management, operations or related field, with 3+ years experience; BA/BS degree with 5+ years experience

EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS:
­ 5+ years experience in supply chain management, or operations leadership
­ Ability to exercise independent business judgment to drive strategy and achieve results
­ Good command of computer knowledge-Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.
­ Proven ability to lead a global team to achieve results
­ Ability to excel in a dynamic environment
­ Ability to lead analysis and resolution of complex problems where success requires the evaluation of both tangible and intangible variables
