This position needs to be based in Hangzhou for around one year, will transfer to Changzhou after the new site operates.
Main Responsibilities:
1. Represent the supply chain team, communicating and working effectively and efficiently with other functions (production/quality/engineering/customer service/sales/equipment, etc).
2. Order Management
Responsible for order fulfilment process which supply to the local site
3. Responsible for customer contacts in terms of contract, payment, lead-time and logistics arrangement.
- Interface with local and global stakeholders (Sales, Production, Procurement, Quality, and Finance, Logistics etc.) to resolve delivery issues and improve processes.
- Monthly cost/delivery related analysis reports.
4. Local and Global sourcing:
- Search and assess the best suitable suppliers for both local and global manufacturing, outsourcing, and sub-contraction.
- Negotiate the best price and cost for raw materials, sub-contracted components, and finished goods.
- Organize the supply chain audit and review
- Monitor the supply chain performance and form sourcing strategies/tactics
5. Supply chain daily management
6. Others if needed.
Requirements:
1. Degree in engineering or relevant subjects,
2. Good understanding of manufacturing process
3. Good analytical skill, especially for analysis on standard cost, purchase price variance, etc
4. Familiar with steel market and mechanical manufacturing industry
5. Excellent communication skills & teamwork, willing to work overtime and under pressure.
6. Ability to deal with a variety of stakeholders both internal and external to the business.
7. Strong negotiation capabilty
8. English capability
9. At least 8 years working in sourcing/procurement/supply chain management.
