RESPONSIBILITIES
?Manage a team of technical staff, contractors, consultant and owners representative.
?Review and evaluate construction bids .
?Prepare request for proposal for engineering consulting services, quotations from contactors and suppliers .
?Prepare project schedule, construction budget, cash flow, correspondences and project reports .
?Evaluate work change and variations, work done and verify contractors progress payment claims .
?Coordinate and liaise with all the related parties from construction commencement till completion of the project .
?Ensure technical specifications and drawing are complete and in compliance with the municipal engineering and building
code requirements .
?Monitor construction operation, site activities, and progress against planned .
?Monitor, control and manage construction cost against budgeted in a project .
?Organize inspection for certification and obtainment of the relevant Permits, Certificate of Substantial Completion .
?Coordinate with the contractors in carrying out the correction of defective and non-conforming work before and during defect
liability period .
?Identify and resolve dispute and conflicts among all related parties in the project .
?Prepare budgets for regular reporting to the management .
?Prepare final reports necessary for close-out of the development or consulting services project .
?Manage and oversee multi projects at the same time .
?Provide all necessary supports to the business development and marketing team .
?Perform other tasks as assigned by Ascendas.
KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Education:
University degree holder in engineering
Job related experience
Ten years working experiences and at least five year business development experience in engineering and relevant industry.
Knowledge:
Quantity Surveying and tender exercise
Skills:
Good command of English both in writing & speaking.
