Description:
As a production section leader of Changzhou plant operation team, this position is responsible for developing and implementing the best production program assure to keep the best conditions of plant manufacturing. Production Supervisor requires to provide leadership to Safety, Products Quality, Delivery and Cost goals achievement and continuous Improvement to be aligned with team and plant goals, and focus on Technical details incl. VizOp/ SAP/Monthly stock.
This position reports to Operation Leader of Changzhou
Responsibilities:
1. Safety & 5S
? Lead to create training plan for production team.
? Lead Safety communication on Shift Huddle and continuously improve potential safety issues, first aids and near miss.
? Continuously improve and update safety guarding program.
? Lead 5S initiative
2. Upgrading Quality Control
? Lead to upgrade Process Quality Control system through VizOp, TPM & TQM.
? Drive team to oversee all product BOM and package specification.
? Drive conformity to ISO requirements.
? Drive Layered Process Audit to be a powerful process for quality assurance.
? Lead communication with Quality
3. Delivery
? Drive production schedule to match PO’s requirement.
? Establish key process inside production to ensure PO delivery on time.
4. Global SOS Program
? Keep engaging in the global SOS program and leading team to develop and implement the global standards with delivering SOS training (Trainer role)
? Review, update and develop the standard operation sheet
? Conduct the global best practices in the maintenance works to make sure working safety, quality and the best delivery performance
5. Leading and Developing Talent
? Develop a number of backup Coordinator/Engineer with strong analytical skills for production process.
? Develop 1~2 of back up Shift Leaders for operation.
Job Requirements
Experience:
1. A minimum of 5 – 7 years manufacturing experience with a minimum of 2 years as production Supervisor .
2. Local language and English ability.
3. Industry background is open with a preference for textile industry
4. Undergraduate degree in textile / mechanical engineering required
Knowledge and Abilities
1. Technical knowledge of Textile weaving, Familiar with weaving and knitting machines and operation processes
2. Knowledge for production tools (5S, AM, PM...)
3. Good experience of working in team based environment
4. Strong Organizational Development & Communication Skills: Has the ability to organize cross functional initiatives
5. Coaching Skills: Has the ability to coach employees through complex problem solving process.

1. Strong Intellect: Bright individual, with ability to combine analytical reasoning, creativity and judgment.
2. Customer Orientation: Has an external (outside-in) orientation and understanding that all business opportunities start with knowledge of how to create value for a customer.
