职位描述：
Field Application Engineer China

Reporting to Vice President Sales & Marketing
Working location: flexible, can be home working, in Shanghai or areas close to Shanghai.

Main responsibilities:
? Customer consulting & technical support
? Application engineering at customer sites in China & Taiwan
? Carrying out of feasibility studies
? Performance characterization of products
? Participation in trade shows and conferences

Qualifications:
? Technical background required (MSc or equivalent in engineering or physics)
? Working experience in the optics industry
? Ability to understand customer requirements and propose practical solutions
? Friendly and open-minded nature, ability to build & maintain relationships
? Ability to work from home in China/Taiwan and travel extensively to customers
? Proficiency in Chinese/Mandarin & English (other languages advantageous)
? Programming skills advantageous (C, C#, Python, Zemax)
