Job Description:

• Basic Function: Provides technical telephone and/or on-site applications/systems support to customers by answering questions on function and usage of applications and systems.

Job Duties (include but not limited to):

• Manage and build computers and servers to support needs of a large IT company;
• Troubleshoot problems or issues with software and hardware in a helpdesk atmosphere;
• Work with customers to resolve technical issues
• Enforce the enterprise IT policies and procedures.
• Contribute to growth and updating of team technical documentation pool.
• Follow up outstanding cases.
• IT inventory management.
• Automates OS installations
• Performs hardware and software evaluations and make recommendations
• Performs application Compatibility / Interoperability Testing / Application Packaging
• Develop and maintain documentation required to support the Windows desktop and laptop infrastructure
• Act as a resource for various application implementation projects

Job Requirements:

• Candidate must be fluent in English. Candidates with fluency in Japanese/Korean strongly preferred.
• Bachelor's degree or higher, preferably in a technical field (Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, Computer Science)
• Excellent communication skills, customer service skills and documentation skills
• Sharp, analytical thinker – enjoy solving problems by using both logic and innovation.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work as part of a team, as well as to work independently with minimal supervision. Be willing to learn on their own, as well as with the help of others.
• At least two years of experience in IT position.
• Knowledge of x86, x86_64 hardware, operating system and software configuration and administration.
• Knowledge of Linux systems administration
• Strong Linux shell scripting skills
• Experienced in deploying OS installation via scripted, unattended methods, Sysprep, and other imaging methods.
• Experience with popular IT applications or tools, such as Office 2007/2010, Symantec Endpoint Protection, Symantec Ghost, Active Directory 2003/2008.
• CCNA/MCSE certificate is a plus
