THE ROLE
We are looking for an innovative graphic designer, with strong business acumen and technical understanding and the personal drive to take ownership of a project and to deliver on time and on budget. You must have a passion for consumer electronics and understand the the mindset of our target market. The majority of work undertaken will be team orientated under the guidance of a Design Manager.
Main responsibilities include:
* Brand Development: ongoing design development as required, ownership of all use of brand, brand guidelines
* Packaging development: managing development of all new packaging as per brand & packaging guidelines & inline with packaging process
* Development of product and company brochures
* Website design: provide graphic material for the website and accommodate the design for specific clients. You will work together with a website developer.
* Photography: product specific and PR photography
* PR support: develop newsletters, videos, animation, presentations, etc
* Marketing input: you will be adding input into the marketing and communication team
SKILLS REQUIRED
* A high level of ability using Adobe Creative Suite; specifically Adobe Photoshop (product rendering and photographic editing), Adobe Illustrator (creating freeform vector artwork) and Adobe inDesign.
* A basic understanding of HTML web management and creating artwork for online spaces.
* Experience handling a digital SLR camera for product photography purposes.
* An intermediate level of English language ability; speaking, reading and writing. Working with efergy will provide you with an opportunity to improve your skills in this area.
