Senior Quality Support Inspector / Quality Support Inspector

Position Overview:

These positions are responsible for managing the quality assurance function for apparel & accessories to ensure compliance with the Company's quality standard for all factories producing our products.
Responsibilities:
? Manage the weekly and monthly factory inspection schedule (SQS).
? Mentor, train and develop the QS inspection team (SQS).
? Lead to improve quality in the factories and ensure production comply Varner requirement.
? Conduct PP meetings, in-line and final inspection according to Varner requirement
? Provide pre-production meeting/quality inspection report and improvement suggestion to factory within the designated timeline.
? Work closely with production office for quality issues.
? Maintain and update weekly quality overview with relevant information on quality issues by factory.
? Work pro-actively in avoiding and detecting the possible quality problem during production.
? Support technical advice and solution to solve quality issues to supplier and merchandiser.
? Perform any ad-hoc tasks/projects as assigned by the superior.

Qualifications & Experiences:

? Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Textiles / Clothing or related discipline;
? Post-secondary with substantial relevant working experience will also be considered;
? Well-experienced in formal wear, functional wear, ladies fashion & lingerie will be preferable;
? Excellent understanding of manufacturing process; good communication and problem solving skills;
? Maintain strong ethical standards;
? Proficient in MS office
? Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese.
? Frequently travels to factories.

1) Senior Quality support:
at least 10+ years quality assurance & inspection experiences in men, ladies and children’s wear for both woven & knitted apparel and accessories.

2) Quality support
at least 5+ years quality inspection experiences in men’s, ladies and children’s wear for both woven & knitted apparel and accessories.

Language skills: Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese.
Computer skills: Must be adept in using Microsoft Office, in particular Word and Excel, able to learn new IT systems swiftly.
