OVERVIEW:

We are looking for Process Improvement Manager for a Fortune 500 Company.

SUMMARY:

- Leads the improvement activities and resources for the assigned business region and is a member of the regional Fulfillment leadership team.

- Works with the PMD regional Fulfillment leadership and Global CI Manager, to align regional improvement goals, lead improvement planning processes, develop prioritized improvement project stack and associated allocation of improvement resources for their business region.

- Fully implements CI and DMAIC to achieve the objectives of customer satisfaction, sustainable low cost, reliability, reduced product variability, improved quality and shorter cycle times.

- Serves as the lead subject-matter expert in Lean/Six Sigma for the business region.

- Challenges conventional wisdom through the application of the DMAIC methodology, and provides guidance and knowledge to lead and change behaviors and practices.

- Executes set number of personal led projects contributing to the overall project work load of the team.

- Coaches and mentors belts in the business region on Lean/Six Sigma projects, tools and methodologies for advancing the CI culture in the company.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

* Drive regional level planning, prioritization, selection, resourcing and efficient execution of projects for their functional region

* Accountability with the Regional Fulfillment Manager and the Global CI Manager in establishing improvement goals, prioritized improvement project stack and associated allocation of improvement resources for their function

* Accountability to the Regional Fulfillment Manager for achievement of improvement goals for their regional business, including variable and fixed cost productivity, growth/margin, balance sheet and other improvements

* Accountability for developing people and skills for advancing CI culture in the company

* Drive Best Practice replication within the business region

* Develop divisional strength through coaching and education in the areas of strategies, tactics, organizational effectiveness, and leadership. Mentor project team members regarding Lean/Six Sigma culture and infrastructure.

* Prepare and present improvement proposals to regional Fulfillment Manager and global CI Manager with recommendations, including cost benefit analysis, risk mitigation, and action plans. Evaluate solutions and implementation plans.

* Ensure appropriate identification of root causes through effective us of data analysis tools and techniques

* Create, motivate, and facilitate cross-team collaboration across business and functions to deliver on objectives

* Identify and propagate replication and best practice sharing opportunities across the division and the company * Run Sigma/Lean projects accounting for 60% of the incumbent's time.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

* Proven experience leading improvement projects and coaching and developing improvement resources * Certified Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt

* Lean Exerts, Certified Lean Green Belt. Black Belt is prefered

* Project management skills including oversight of project team, resource identification, budgets, scheduling and planning

* Possess strong influencing, coaching, communication and facilitative skills

* Ability to bring teams together to achieve targets and goals

* Ability to diagnose and affect cultural change in moderate to difficult circumstances

* Strong interpersonal skills

* Bi-lingual Mandarin and English (both verbal and written)

* MUST have Lean Manufacturing experience and demonstrated 5-10 year supply chain/plant operations/engineering experience

* Bachelor or Master Degree in Industrial Engineering, or another technical discipline preferred.
