Managing the Merchandising team
? Supervise and inspire the teams
? Develop new and improve existing systems and processes to work efficiently.
? Be a catalyst for lean organization. Use management skills (people’s, structure and projects) to ensure timely and quality delivery of orders, demands and projects
? Responsible for the quality assurance and for providing guidance within development process.
? Manage multiple projects from concept through to completion.
? Interpret, gain and communicate insights to clients, suppliers and the team to help achieve all goals
? Provide full costing, production and delivery schedules and help the team to anticipate any hurdle while keeping the schedule
? Manage staff performance, training and development.
Manage Projects
? Ensure realization of internal or customer led creative projects
? Provide leadership for all development processes.
Manage Company promotion
? Ensure realization of creative material (catalogues, website), events (fairs) and presentation (showroom) in accordance to the corporate and visual identity.
? Provide quality control over concepts and projects to ensure brand consistency.
Supplier Management
? Develop, maintain and manage critical supplier relationships.
? Source and manage third party manufacturers, auditing their competence past and future
? Recruit and manage third party design and related firms as well as internal design resources.

SKILLS:
Language skills
? English written and oral fluent level
? Chinese written and oral good level
? Others: French, German or Spanish a plus
Experience :
? 5 years min experience
? experience in Trading or manufacturing and managing a small team an projects
? experience working with western clients, preferably major retailers
? experience working with Chinese manufacturers
