Job Title:Tax Manager-North Asia

Report To:Head of Tax,Asia Pacific


Responsibilities:(key activities and decisions for which only this role is accountable)

Provision of tax advice to the business units eg in the form of tax planning and structuring in a relatively independent way;
Provide tax/customs compliance assurance on the business in charge,as well as tax reporting, forecasting and internal control
Manage tax performance of SABIC North Asia assets/portfolios on an optimized;
Work with global tax peers and business peers on various tax/structure issues;
Manage the tax audits carried out by the Tax authorities in an independent way;
Representing SABIC on tax issues at negotiations with the tax authorities under the supervision of NTM/STM.
Build up & develop SABIC North Asia tax network and provide proper and necessary training to Finance people;
Working with finance and accounting staff and with external service providers to ensure that SABIC's companies fully comply with their tax obligations in North Asia
Other projects or tasks assigned by Line manager


REQUIREMENTS

Education & Training:(degree,training,or certificatio required)

· Bachelor degree or above

· Professional designation (CPA,CTA,ACCA etc)

· Fluency in English language

Experience:(technical,functional,and/or leadership experience required)

· 6-10 years taxes experiences in dealing with North Asia business;

· Big 4 experiences is required and corporate experiences is a plus

· Familiarity with full spectrum of manufacturing and distribution operations

· Good knowledge on economic evaluations;

· Experiences at dealing with Fiscal authorities is essential along with strong negotiation skills
