Franchise Operations Manager, China


Key Responsibilities:

As a key member of the management group, you will have direct responsibility for EF English First franchise business area, including franchise support, national marketing and PR activities, liaison with government authorities and franchising associations, budget development and control.



Job Description


1. Manage expansion through assisting and managing franchise sales manager to achieve set sales targets

2. Manage Investor Relations with our partners around China, including regular visits and a close working relation with the management of franchised schools.

3. Manage and develop the support team in the following main areas; Marketing,Sales and Service Training, Academic Support, Teacher Recruitment, Financial & Legal support, Logistics, Construction and IT support.

4. Pre opening support, location approval, pre-opening planning, facility approvals, Center Manager approvals, grand openings, logistics supply etc.

5. Plan and arrange regular Training Programs and Franchise conferences, both regionally and nationally.

6. Analysis and weekly collection of operational sales statistics. Feed back to schools.

7. Analysis and monthly collection of royalty reports and payments.

8. Audit and Credit control.


Critical Knowledge/Skills:

1. 7-10 years work experience in an operations development and management role in fast-paced growth environment, preferably in service industry..

2. Strong people skills and team leadership/management abilities

3. Experience of working in cross culture environment.

4. Proven ability to analyse and interpret data under changing conditions

5. Entrepreneurial spirit

6. Organized and detail-oriented

7. Ability to prioritize multiple projects, meet challenging deadlines and perform under pressure

8. Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Mandarin

9. Self-motivated and able to solve business challenges and provide solutions with minimal supervision

10. Advanced presentation and reporting skills in Excel, Word and PowerPoint
