职位描述：
RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Design and execute test cases to adequately test software functionality as defined in business requirements
2. Detect software failures so that defects may be discovered and corrected.
3. Record and document results (JIRA) and compare to expected results.
4. Generate historical analysis of test results.
5. Maintain database (JIRA) of software defects.
6. Develop Trace Matrix from URS to FS to Test Case
7. Proficient in HP ALM for Trace Matrix, test execution and defect management
8. Knowledge of maintaining and executing using UFT
9. Examine code and execution of code in various environments.
10. Verify specific action or function of code.
11. Work with existing development and testing staff to operate and maintain test environment and test data setup
12. Work with Test Lead to develop and document application test plans based on software requirements and technical specifications.
13. Create meaningful error handling procedures for application code.
14. Ensure compliance with general programming best practices, accepted web standards and those standards set forth by upstream sources.
15. Participate in project meetings as required
16. Ensure data integrity standards.
17. Perform reviews, walkthroughs, of testing results to appropriate project staff


SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:
Ideal candidate must be self-motivated with a proven track record in Application testing within the Pharma Industry. Candidate must be organized and analytical, adept at working in a team environment, and able to handle multiple priorities .
Additional qualifications are:
1. 7+ years of experience as an application software tester
2. Experience in the Pharma/Biotech industry as a tester
3. Prior experience working on global project team (US & Europe)
4. Willingness/ability to work “off hours” (US PDT – GMT -7) if needed.
5. B.S. degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, MIS or equivalent preferred
6. Strong communication skills
7. Knowledge in web-based systems architecture, service-based architecture, enterprise application architecture as well as experience managing expectations when balancing alternatives against business and time constraints
8. Must demonstrate good judgment and pragmatic approach to testing software
9. Should have participated in, and be familiar with, Agile (Scrum) project
methodology and practices
10. Good working knowledge of modern Java/JavaScript framework applications
11. Knowledge of semantic technologies
12. Experience with MS Office Suite (MS PowerPooint, Word, Excel), gMail, gCal, Jira, HP ALM, UFT 举报 分享
