职位描述：
BASIC FUNCTION:

Conduct AQL Audits of Covers Suppliers in Shanghai, Zhejiang, Jiangsu and Shandong China on a weekly basis following the guidelines detailed in the La-Z-Boy AQL Audit Procedure. Certification of covers being prepared for shipment to the La-Z-Boy/Schenker CCC to all La-Z-Boy Quality Specifications. Generates AQL audit reports and develops corrective action plans for Cover Suppliers that are producing non-compliant material.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

o Schedule AQL audits with all Cover Suppliers and auditors by the authorization of Quality Manager
o Conduct weekly AQL audits with all Cover Suppliers assigned to them using the AQL 2.5 Audit Plan.
o Calculate the audit population based upon AQL 2.5 and using the Supplier Packing Slip.
o Inspect Cover in the audit population to insure compliance to La-Z-Boy Cover Quality Standards.
o Make final decision on accepting or rejection a container shipment.
o Document AQL audit results and generate reports for La-Z-Boy Cover Quality, La-Z-Boy Global, GTC, Suppliers, and Supply Chain Team Members.
o Develop continuous improvement reports from AQL audits and present them to La-Z-Boy Cover Quality and Supply Chain Management teams.
o Review and analyze AQL audit reports and provide recommendations for reduced, normal, and tightened inspection requirements.
o Support La-Z-Boy Cover Quality Team and Suppliers with the 8D Corrective Action Process.
o Support PPAP Process Team Members during the new cover launch process.
o Support Quality Manager during the New Supplier Assessment process.
o Train new auditors to be qualified of following standards and procedures to conduct AQL audit.


MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

? 4-year degree in Business or Quality Management
? Excellent English communication skills
? Excellent visual color assessment capability
? Technical training in writing control plans
? Computer skills – business software – Word, Excel, Power Point
? Communication skills – including verbal & written, presentation, negotiation & conflict resolution
? Weekly travel to Shanghai, Zhejiang, Jiangsu and Shandong。
