Job Purpose
岗位目的

The Industrial Designer will be able to translate front-end research/strategy into design opportunities. He/she will develop solutions based on the human factors, marketing, and manufacturing parameters and incorporate the design language into the product design.
工业设计师须能够将前沿的研究/产品开发战略融入公司的产品设计中，开发符合市场和制造要求、外形美观的人文产品。


Key Responsibilities
主要职责

1. As a hands-on contributor to design projects, he/she will be in charge of activities below:
作为设计项目的实际参与者，他/她将负责以下活动：

a. Visual research
视觉研究

b. Preparation for concept review presentations
准备设计概念的演示

c. Conceptual sketching including Illustrator and Photoshop Ideation
通过Illustrator和Photoshop设计概念草图

d. CAD modeling in Pro/E and surface modeling
在Pro/E中进行CAD建模以及曲面建模

e. Excellent visual and verbal communication and storytelling skills

2. Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams on a continuous basis and provide artwork design support to the Packaging Design Engineer as required.

3. Continuously contribute to the review and enhancement of the relative industrial design guidelines, brand styles, and materials improving the utility as well as desirability to users.
不断审核相关的工业设计准则、品牌风格和材料应用，加强并改善产品性能，不断提高产品的市场吸引力。

4. Support the communication between the engineering team, customers and manufacturers.
支持工程团队、客户及生产团队之间的沟通。

5. Perform additional duties directed by superiors.

Qualification
任职资格

1. Bachelor’s degree in accredited industrial design program is a baseline requirement.
必须拥有工业设计专业学士学位。

2. Three+ years’ related experience or experience in developing commercial products is preferred.
3年以上开发商业产品或相关领域工作经验的优先考虑。

3. Have strong 2D visualization skills, such as sketching, Illustrator and Photoshop software, and be able to develop 3D databases in Pro E and work with human factors specialists with great appreciation.
2D制图能力熟练，如素描，操作Illustrator及Photoshop软件等；能通过Pro E开发3D数据库，融合人文因素，设计出令人欣赏的作品。

4. English Language skills with fair listening, speaking, reading and writing abilities.
适当的英语能力，包括听、说、读、写。

5. Familiar with the computer knowledge, especially skilled in using Microsoft Office Software, i.e. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and/or others.
