Senior Systems Administrator
This is a hands-on role that requires expert knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server & desktop products, networking protocols, Virtualisation software and hardware as well exceptional management and communications skills.
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Manage global helpdesk system
- Manage Active Directory structure and objects including maintenance and monitoring
- Manage, maintain and administer Windows Servers including Microsoft Exchange 2003/2010, Microsoft SQL Server, Microsoft IIS and other Microsoft Windows Systems
- Manage the virtualisation environment including design and analysis in a DR scenario
- SAN storage management and administration
- Application deployment
- Proactive monitoring of systems
Required Skills:
? Knowledge and experience in server virtualisation using VMWare and/or Citrix XenServer
? Expert knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server products in a corporate environment including Microsoft Exchange, SQL and IIS
? Excellent understanding of network and network protocols including VPN and firewall configuration and management.
? Experience and knowledge of managing and implementing Windows Update systems and Antivirus systems
? Ability to work independently and in a team environment
? Ability to travel
? Excellent English skills
