Job Title: Lean Manager Job Holder:
Reports to: Plant Manager Location: Hangzhou, China
Job Purpose
To pro-actively lead and drive the continuously improvement projects in Bridon Hangzhou, ensuring best lean practices are followed by all team members. Responsible for realize the targets of cost saving, quality/5S improvements.
Principal Accountabilities
Principal accountabilities shall include, but not be limited to:
? Responsible for Lean culture development in all level of workforces.
? Coordinate with operations team and correlative team to deploy continuous improvement on cost saving, quality, productivity sustainability.
? Establish continuous improvement goal and work with related team to achieve it.
? Prepare the lean /CI tools train materials and coach to all level of workforces.
? Collect the production data and through analysis to define the CI opportunities and projects.
? Identify seven wastes across all production processes to define the solution to eliminate wastes.
? Coordinates all Lean Manufacturing Activities including kaizen events, projects and any other activity to improve and further lean efforts and ensure execution of transformation plan. Supports operations and office group to establish and maintain standard work and continuous flow in all areas, including 5S and visual management.
? Assures open communications and involvement of employees who work in the Lean process.
? Provides lean status reports for both internal and external communications including metric based accomplishments of the transformation plan. Estimates and reports on true savings of lean efforts in areas of Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost and Cash (inventory). Reports on scheduled KAIZEN activities, number of events with sustained results, results achieved, and assistance needed for assigned area.
Knowledge & Experience
? Bachelor degree or above on manufacturing or engineering, etc.
? Strong communication and cooperation/presentation skills.
? Strong data analysis and problem solving skills.
? Has trained in Continuous Improvement (e.g. Lean manufacturing) and has at least 1 year of successful implementation.
? Good command of both written and oral English.
? Knowledge of people motivations.
? Project Management
High motivated people with people management skills.
Good on presentation skills.
Good on data collection and analysis skill.
Good problem solving skill.
