职位描述

Purpose of the job

Be responsible for managing daily credit management share service affairs for all DNP companies (including Taiwan and HK area), DEP China and other Non-DNP companies. Including customer assessment, credit review and credit collection & reporting and minimize & control the overdue rate & DSO per corporate requirement.To ensure business risks are adequately managed.



Job Context

-In China, the credit system has not yet been built up completely, it is easy for some limited companies (especially for distributors) to evade the debts by abandoning the original company and establishing a new cone to do the same business. The procedure of legal action and enforcement is difficult. However, with more and more attention to the credit by the whole society, the situation is improving.

-To work closely with all departments of various BU in the organisation to ensure all aspects of credit affairs managed appropriately.



Job Content:



a) Key Areas of Accountability / Responsibility


SHE and Security


1) Responsible for compliance with all DSM internal control policies on SHE and Security and to report to management on any non compliance cases observed.


Manufex (SAP related)


2) Supervise for correctness and timely of customer master maintenance in SAP & Apollo - Customer master data owner accounting and Customer master data owner credit control.

3) Work proactively with SAP & Apollo system consultant to ensure the correctness of AR information - Credit Risk Manager Role in SAP.



Manufex (Non SAP related)


Routine Job



1. To responsible for the customer set-up and daily credit control

· Co-ordinate with sales people to set up customer's credit limit and payment term

· Create new customer and amend the existing ones in SAP system timely

· To responsible for daily credit check and release the on-hold orders upon approval

· Perform annual credit review to all customer accounts and provide proposal for adjustment

· To optimize the service and cost of 3rd party credit investigation company by annual bidding




2. To be responsible for the A/R collection

· Keep the Group DSO figure under target and lowered overdue ratio

· Administration sales collection situation, to contact with all the customers to chase the overdue A/R

· To reconcile the A/R record with customer when difference appeared

· Prepare aging analysis, account statements, dunning letters etc. and distributes to related parties accordingly

· Closely monitor the customer's credit status and inform management for any abnormal situation

· To assist in any legal action to the customer


3. To support sales peoples and activities

· To visit the customer to know the entire situation when necessary

· Periodically hold meeting with sales to review the AR status and business development

· To give training to sales people for better understanding the credit control policy

4.Any other Ad hoc job assigned by supervisor

5) Responsible for compliance with all DSM policies and controls on Quality and to report to management on any non compliance cases observed.



a) Authorities



1. Approve customer credit application and release on-hold sales orders in proxy.

7. Complexity of the job

-Strong competition and complexity of industry environment as well as customer bases, need deeply involve into the business. Different target and position between sales and credit management, which calls a mutual understanding on balancing the sales expansion and risk control.

-Managing tight timelines for required date and ensuring accuracy and completeness

-Working with a sense of responsibility, risk awareness and proactive communication attitude

Knowledge and educational level

University graduate in Accountancy. Good command in spoken and written English. Fast learner and able to communicate ideas well and good communication skills in dealing with people at all levels. Independent and able to work well with other departments.

Required level of experiences

Above 2-3 years relevant working experience, preferably in multinational companies. Experience in Credit Control preferred.
