职位描述

Key Areas of Accountability / Responsibility 主要职责 / 责任




1. Set up professional AD projects and implement them within the constraints of BG policy (a.o. Marketing Plan and Industry Plan, Regional Portfolio), timing and budget


2. Build up application and industry know-how, proactively identify them and adequately react upon them. Use this knowledge to generate new, profitable business (e.g. achieving technical approvals)


3. Translate customer requirements to product specifications, and, if relevant, product development specifications


4. Solve technical problems at customers site re the processing and applicability of BG EP's products, provide support to solve customer complaints


5. Give material and mould advise as well as design advise


6. Reporting technical trends in the market as well as contribute to BG-EP's understanding of our local competitive position


7. Keep the local expertise level(s) on a high professional level, hand over know-how to the BDM organization, developing where required adequate multiplication tools


8. In addition to monthly reporting to Regional Manager DEP South China, report key AD projects quarterly to R&TM manager on Targets (deliverables), Status, Milestones, KSF, Highlights, and Lowlights


9. Realizes the yearly new project acquisition and technical approval target.


10. Responsible for the new project/application developments at existing/new accounts, support to achieve the growth via the existing business and the new commercialized business.


11. Responsible for positioning new value propositions at target accounts for Commercial development and for communicating value propositions to the market.


12. Develop and maintain networks at adequate levels in the value chain and within account’s organizations focusing on engineering and technology


13. Responsible to communicate towards the customer and segment manager the technical request, and needs of new product development.


14. Responsible for collecting market information and communicating current and emerging needs for current and new accounts within the segment and region to drive value proposition development.


15. To prospect and visit new customers in order to: 1. acquire technical commercial information, build up customer and industrial relationships. 2. Identify and acquire new opportunities. 3. organize the customer and DSM’s resource to technically approve the opportunities Via Value Proposition ( majorly) and shareshifting (sometimes).

Within the framework set by the segment/regional manager, organize necessary resources(sample, technical, commercial) to support the new projects/applications development and achieve the technical approvals.

Knowledge:


· Technical luggage: extrusion/moulding, functional industrial requirements and standards, product and end-part testing, product design。


· Balance of commercial and technical know-how, skills and experience


· Broad view on industry and markets (cable preferred), in-depth know-how about products and/or applications and competitive material specifications and applications.


· knowledge of sales processes


· Fluent spoken and written English


· Excellent communication, language and social skills

Education Level:


Minimal Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in mechanical/technology/ chemical engineering and/or business-related field




Required Levels of Experiences 所需的工作经验
