Job purpose
？ Procurement function: Perform tactical buying for Corporate Spend category according to Novartis Pharma Indirect sourcing SOP.
？ Achieve cost reduction target
？ Cooperate with other divisions at Novartis Group via supporting on Shared country procurement

Major accountabilities
？ Tactical buying for Corporate spend category. Ensure sourcing transactions/activities are accurate and compliant with sourcing SOP
？ Perform Spend analysis and analytical insights to support Category Management Process via any/all analytical tools (i.e. SAP BW, excel etc.) and work towards standardization
？ Support on Shared country procurement, provide data collection, analysis and X-DIV sourcing activities.
？ Support on communication of SRC CS category in GCPO and GCR
？ Conducts Biz Sourcing process including RFI, RFP, RFQ price and contract negotiation
？ Build on existing knowledge of external best practices
？ Interacts with Biz internal and external stakeholders including suppliers
？ Will be required to reach out to different stake holders, gather information and even challenge stakeholders
？ Find innovative ways to simplify the reports and utilize time to identify newer ways to analyze the sourcing issues
？ Ability to work independently, with limited guidance/supervision
Key performance indicators/Measure of success
？ Effectiveness of execution sourcing projects per plan
？ Annual cost reduction from the purchased item as agreed in the year begin
？ Full compliance with all relevant existing company guidelines



? Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Economics, Engineering, Science or related major;

? Facility management sourcing background is preferred

? 3+ years of working experience in Sourcing and preferred within pharmaceutical industry;
? 1+ years of relevant work experience in project management role with basic management skills and project coordination experience;
? Good communication and Data analytical skills.
? Strong customer centric focus, relationship management with key stakeholders, persuasive, negotiating, proactive and can do attitude a must
? Good command of MS Office Tools (i.e. excel, ppt);
? Knowledge is SAP BW is not required, but a plus
? Experience and success at working in teams and in cross functional roles;


? Fluent Chinese and English are required, both in written and verbal
