Responsibilities
1. Assist County Integrity Officer (CIO) with the implementation of the ABB Group and Country Compliance Program in China
2. Assist CIO with the development of additional Country Compliance Programs, for issues which are specific for China and monitor local laws for the need to adapt or reinforce compliance policies.
3. Provide guidance and compliance counseling to the Business on issues in accordance with Group Directives and Policies
4. Implement and Monitor the roll-out of Group e-learning and Face-to-Face training in China in accordance with Group requirements; develop training materials and implement additional training as required, and assist CIO to implement the annual integrity training plan for China
5. Conduct Due Diligence on Intermediaries, third Party Local Agents and Other Representatives in connection with Applications for engagement or payment of Intermediaries, Third Party Local Agents and Other Representatives.
6. Assist CIO with compliance due diligence in connection with M&A projects.
7. Prepare reports on major compliance issues or specific compliance cases, and provide support in compliance investigations as requested by CIO
8. Coordination with key functions such as Legal, HR and Communications
Requirements
1. Bachelor degree, major in Legal or Finance
2. More than 5 years working experience either in a professional legal or finance firm or with a multinational company.
3. Possessing excellent communication skills, strong fundamentals and drive to succeed.
4. Ideally, candidates are familiar with both Western and Chinese legal systems.
5. Possessing uncompromised sense of integrity and highest ethical standards
6. Results-oriented with ability to prioritize and organize
7. Ability to deal with ambiguity and complexity in an efficient manner
8. Fluent in English and Chinese (written and spoken)
