Responsibilities:

- Serves as technical support to the area operation on industrial engineering.

- Conduct capacity and cycle time study and analysis for manufacturing processes, equipment and machines.

- Establish and update process and operation technical standards for manufacturing

- Identify process, wastage and efficiency improvement opportunities, initiate and implement process improvement projects.

- Consults with Engineering Department engineer to improve production processes, machinery and equipment.

- Perform new equipment and process qualification as required.

- Ensure improvement projects are carried out with compliance to GMP, quality and ESH requirement.

- Ensure that latest technical standard, improvement or update is communicated, and training is provided, to relevant operators.

- Support QA and R&D for new product qualification and in charge of production validation.

- Assists Area Manager on Special Projects as required.

Requirements:

This position requires a college degree in Mechanical / Electrical / Electronic /Industrial Engineering or equivalent major along with at least 3 years of manufacturing and project engineering experience. Due to the in-depth involvement into process improvement, this position requires a high level of knowledge on Industrial Engineering technology and methodology. Also strong analytical and problem solving skill is required.
