Role Summary/Purpose

The Data Analytics Specialist will analyze the failure and performance data of regional installed fleets. They will also work in close cooperation with the ROC and Functional Technical Support team to do the turbine performance evaluation and statistical data analysis.

Essential Responsibilities

In addition Data Analytics Specialist will:

• Support Regional Service Managers in contractual availability calculation.
• Provide routine fleet performance data analysis to internal and external customers.
• Work with functional teams to enhance digital tool application for efficient analytics, issue diagnostic and failure prevention.
• Provide on-demand technical support to on-site service team.
• Work with 1st level support to identify early failure trend and to initiate corrective actions.
• Support Functional Technical Support and Product Service Engineering on reliability analysis for RCA programs

Qualifications/Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or above in data science, computer, statistics or engineering from an accredited school.
• Minimum 2 years professional experience in a technical role of IT or wind industry.
• Database skills: must be proficient in SQL.
• Programming capacity: experienced in Python, Excel VBA or R, etc.
• BI tool knowledge: familiar with Tableau, MS Power BI or Smartsheets.
• Knowledge or experience in Wind SCADA and Wind Control would be bonus points.
• Strong analytical thinking and communication skills with multi-culture team.
• Fluent in English and Mandarin.
• Self-motivated to learn quickly and delivery high-quality results.

• Adequate leadership skills
