Responsibilities:

    

    

The candidate will work in Android software group of Shanghai engineering department, who will work very closely with other international teams on Android software development and integration on set-top boxes.

    

    

The candidate’s key responsibility will be participating in Android platform development, designing high quality and professional software on embedded product domain. He/she would be asked to work closely with chip vendors on various tasks including feature development, issue troubleshooting and performance tuning. Work is conducted in close collaboration with global software development teams in Agile software development model.

    

    

Qualifications:

    

    

An elite candidate is expected to have the following expertise and/or experience:

    

• Android platform software development experience – Android app development experience will help, but is not required;
• Android hardware platform bring up and customization;
• Hands-on knowledge and experience on embedded system and Android debugging;
• Prior experience on collaborating with 3rd parties on issues troubleshooting;
• Good knowledge on IP Video technology, including video/audio coding standards and video transmission protocols;
• Working experience with Agile methodologies is preferred;
• English communication skills to work with oversea partners;
• Familiar with Amlogic SoC solution is a strong plus.
• Self-motivated and team working spirit.
