Mission Statement:

Be a member of mechanical team, have responsible for the mechanical design, cable engineering, and sustain in China

Main Accountabilities:

1.  Under the guidance of Mechanical Manager to finish the design, localization of the mechanical (Enclosure, cabinet, plastic, busbar, cable, package etc) section of EVCI

2.  Work with global and local EVCI team to finished the design, cable engineering and manufacturing of EVCI

3. Support sample and assembly’s verification

4. Support and run mechanical test

5. Document and archive all mechanical deliverables in each gates and maintain these files

6:  A good mechanical expert and provide technical support for other design team.

7. Ensure adherence to ABB integrity and safety rules and regulations

Challenges:

- Business penetration with strong international EVCI players and local players in China- under the pressure of cost competition and fast response.

- Know-how and technology transfer from Europe and localization of EVCI business in China

- Align with and ease the western and oriental cultural collision

Knowledge, Skills, Experience:

- Bachelor’s or above degree in mechanical engineering

- Above 5 years’ experience in power product, international company with China design presence background is preferred.

- Good experience in cable engineering is preferred.

- Good experience of metalsheet enclosure, cabinet, plastic, busbar, diecasting, cable, etc.

- Good experience of tooling.

- Good skillful on Solidworks, Creo, AutoCad, Solidworks is preffered

- Have experience of safety design.

-  Results-oriented with good ability to collaborate with others

- Able to work independently and under pressure

- Good English and Chinese communication skill

- Computer skills (MS-Office, Outlook)
