Role: JV analyst

Location: Shanghai

Summary

This role will support Tiger JV and HDGE JV finance analytics, including but not limited to: JV sales, costs management and JV working capital and cash flows. Will also support budgeting and forecasting, connecting JV financial forecasting to the GE process.

Essential Responsibilities

This role covers Manufacturing Finance and JV Controllership, and JV and GE Board reporting.

Supply Chain Finance

• Work on financial reviews, including forecasts, actuals and reporting of financial results to JV and GE.
• Support the JV to build and execute to operating plan, identifying opportunities and mitigating risks.
• Implement and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to enable decision-making. Partner with operations team to understand business drivers behind financial results. Work with JV Finance team to oversee balance sheet, income statement and cashflow statement.
• Support JV manufacturing cost analytics to create visibility and improve product cost position.
• Drive working capital analytics. Oversee variable and base cost and inventory management and optimization.
• Work on business reviews for HDGE and Tiger JV in GE budgeting, pacing and closing reviews.
• Support Stat to GAAP conversions from JV to GE reporting
• Track billing & collections related to GE charges to the JV as agreed in the JV contract, Board resolutions and other contracts
• Support GE and JV ad hoc financial analysis and reporting related to JV
• Work with internal and external auditors to furnish supporting documentation

Controllership

• Work with JV Finance to ensure Controllership in the JV, including: US GAAP and Statutory accounting, tax regulations, foreign exchange controls, customs compliance, and treasury management.
• Support JV leadership and functions to ensure adherence to compliance processes and procedures.
• Support Operations on resolving issues within finance functional area of expertise and be involved in business planning.
• Support on process simplification.

Board reporting

• Prepare documentation for JV Board of Directors meetings.
• Track follow up actions items and ensure closure

Qualifications/Requirements

Bachelor's/Master’s Degree in Accounting, Economics or Finance from an accredited university

Minimum of three to five years of experience in Finance, preferably with above required working experience.

Graduate of the GE Financial Management Program or Corporate Audit Staff or experience from a big four accounting firm a plus
