Job requirements:
University degree in Engineering
5 - 8 years experience in managing of production, maintenance or machine building
Extended knowledge in leadership, lean manufacturing, 5s methods/Six Sigma
Further conditions
Ethnic Chinese
Fluent in English, basics in German language
Willing to move to Jinyun later

Major duties:
1. Production and Maintenance
Ensures timely and adequate production and maintenance to fulfill customer requirements on an as specified basis. Optimizes the operational business (especially productivity) in line with specified plans. Identifies, defines and implements improvement measures leading to performance improvements towards the market and towards the cost situation.

2. Engineering and Technology
Keeps informed about new technologies, decides with Engineering and/or Machinery and Technology Development about implementation and ensures their timely and adequate implementation.

3. Quality
Ensures that quality standards are adhered. Informs about new quality requirements, supports and enforces implementation of new quality standards.

4. Budget
Participates in budgeting process.Ensures watching and keeping within approved budget.

5. Supervision
Leads, promotes, and motivates the employees within his/her area of responsibility, especially performance appraisal and goal setting agreement, successor and representative planning, personnel development and training measures.

6. IMSU/EHS
Ensures adherence to legal laws and internal regulations concerning IMSU/EHS in his/her area of responsibility. Develops improvement concepts and/or improves already existing concepts for IMSU/EHS in close corporation with the site managers and the BU/BS IMSU/EHS represenative and ensures implementation of those concepts in the area of responsibility.

7. Lean Manufacturing
Responsible for designing processes in accordance with the principle of Lean Manufacturing throughout his production. Develops and executes a roadmap on securing the lean initiative over the long-term. Responsible for seeing to it that the necessary qualification structures exist in his department and that these are implemented and complied with.
