As a Project Engineer, you will be part of the Industrial Automation Business and Process Industries Business Line (BL) based in Chongqing. ABB is the World leader in Industrial Automation (IA) Business delivers integrated solutions for control, plant optimization, and industry-specific application knowledge and services to help process industry customers worldwide to meet their critical business needs in the areas of operational profitability, capital productivity, risk management and global responsibility. These industries include oil and gas, power, chemicals and pharmaceuticals, pulp and paper, metals, cement, minerals, marine and turbocharging.

You will be responsible to provide engineering and technical support for Metals and Mining drive projects.

? Plant electrical and automation system hardware and software design for cold rolling mill and processing line projects in metals application
? Creating project documents by using engineering tools: EPLAN/EBase, AUTOCAD, etc.
? Performing site commissioning, keeping all commissioning milestones and fulfilling contractual guarantee figures
? Providing planed or emergency site service to any existing projects
? Living ABB’s core values of safety and integrity, which means taking responsibility for your own actions while caring for your colleagues and the business.

? Bachelor’s or master’s degree, major in Electrical Automation Engineering.
? Having experience in Electrical Automation or Drive control (Knowledge on Rolling Mill control, ABB/Siemens control system or Plant Civil Engineering will be a plus).
? Quick learning, willing to work under pressure and take frequently travelling.
? Good communication and computer skills (familiar with EPLAN/EBase and AUTOCAD will be a plus).
? A high level of self-motivation, curiosity and desire to learn about new technologies.
? A collaborative, solutions-oriented approach and strong communication skills.
