For our Marketing, Sales and Product Management team, understanding the full potential of our technology and the trends in our markets is highly rewarding. In addition, helping customers all over the world improve efficiency, save resources and reduce emissions gives our work a powerful sense of purpose.
As an AMEA and China Senior Strategic Intelligence Officer, you will be part of the Asia, Middle East & Africa Division and Region Function Business Development (BU) Business unit, based in Beijing.
? Track and update AMEA and China macro and industry information, key competitors profile, sales performance and on ground activities. Monitor and study the market trend and development.
? Make analysis of macro-economy and industry trend impact on enterprise strategy, as well as key competitors SWOT, KSF and strategies, to estimate and forecast the future trend to better understand the influence on power business.
? Prepare analysis reports and newsletters for top management.
? Manage AMEA and China intelligence database and market information subscription.
? Work closely with consulting firms to conduct deep study projects; ensure project outcome is delivered on time and with satisfactory quality.
? Collaborate well with other ABB marketing unit, such as LBU FES and Division marketing teams in sharing and exchanging MI.
? Living ABB’s core values of safety and integrity, which means taking responsibility for your own actions while caring for your colleagues and the business.
? University degree holder in Economics / Business / English or related disciplines.
? 3-5 years of Experience in Strategic planning, Management Consulting or Marketing Research related functions.
? Rich experience in Macro-economic or Marketing analysis and its impact.
? Familiar with the China statistic system and database. strong network of reliable information sources.
? Logic thinking and strong analytical skills with framework to process complicated issues.
? Good inter-personality and strong team work spirit is required.
? Outgoing personality with good communication skills, self-initiative, strong ownership and responsibility is must
? Familiar in MS-Office (Word, PPT, Excel).
? Language proficiency (written and spoken) in both English and Mandarin.
? Likes challenges and willing to work under pressure.
