ELEMENTS FOR SIZING

Businesses of ACS, SER, GA and SWS units are situated within China, Hongkong and Macau.

In charge of external direct spend 10~15 M$, manage and extend the BCC China Sourcing spending estimated >20 M$ in 2 years.

Job Descriptions:

The role of the position will encompass the following key aspects:

- ITO Support:

• Take care of regional ACS/GA/SER/SWS tendering projects from sourcing function, include majority of the countries/regions on China, Hongkong and Macau, but not limited to these dedicated countries or regions, depends on the dynamic of the business focus in the region.
• Take the ownership for external material buy, to support ITO team drive the total cost control from external suppliers during the tendering stage.
• Participate the all related meetings/reviews during the ITO stage.
• OTR Support:
• Participate the ITO/OTR hand over meeting, take the ownership of the OTR Sourcing responsibility.
• Prepare and keep update the OTR projects Sourcing Plan, source and negotiate each commodity buy during the OTR stage, maintain the project OTR sourcing spending inside the budget, contribute the savings and project margin expansion.
• Negotiate the all the T&Cs with each supplier for each commodity buy, control the agreed T&Cs with supplier under the company agreement with customers, to reduce the company project execution risk. In meanwhile, negotiate the good payment terms with supplier to make sure project running in a healthy project cash flow.
• Support Procurement team expediting the delivery from supplier, support the quality claim, LD claim negotiation with suppliers.
• Scope are country based and hence, is supporting different GS P&Ls business in the country when business needed.
• Extend the China BCC Sourcing:
• Source and develop the Chinese base suppliers for GS project business.
• Support other regional RFQs, negotiations with Chinese suppliers.
• Coordinate with GS global central team for all BCC China Sourcing opportunities development
• Proactively to drive BCC China Sourcing spending, communicate with Global KCM and regional Sourcing colleagues to increase the BCC China Sourcing spending to benefit the overall company savings.
• Supplier development and management:
• Keep develop strategy suppliers in the countries, for all related P&Ls business.
• Drive and support SQE team to make the supplier qualification and on boarding process.
• Drive and support EHS team to qualify supplier via ComplyWorks, for Civil Work, Erection & Installation suppliers, and not limited to.
• Manage and negotiate the supplier quality or LD claims when business needs.
• Keep on track the supplier performance for dedicated scope of countries business.

- Willing to extend or adjust the business coverage according business needs.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

· Education / Experience

- University Graduate

- Preferable degree (BSc or MSc) in Engineering or Business Management

- 5+ years’ experience in a sourcing position, or in tendering / industrial project realization. The ideal is an experience in both Production Material and Project sourcing environment.

· Specific knowledge

- Project Management

- Sourcing & procurement organization

- Fluency in English

- Electrical sub-station components are highly appreciated

· Business understanding

- Understanding of business processes and company values.

- Understanding of the business strategy and key objectives, as well as technical constraints.

- Broad knowledge of business processes in Engineering, Industrial, Quality, Sales and Marketing, Sourcing and Finance.
