JOB PURPOSE

Generic

The finance Business partner monitors the overall financial

Operational performance at (Site Beijing).

Contributes to strategic/business development

by providing accurate, effective & reliable financial

information & controls.

He/she insures compliance with Group controlling guidelines

and procedure.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

Planning

a. Explore and actively participate on formulation initiatives to realize the Site Vision.

b. Carry out the actions to realize the agreed strategy.

Business Plan Budget, Forecasts, Actuals / Financial Planning & Analysis

a. Organize timelines and key milestones.

b. Develop standard cost in compliance with group guidelines.

c. Follow up targets during the budget and LRP process.

d. Provide all analysis to understand and explain standard costs.

Financial Analysis:

i. Analyze e variances and explain actual results versus Business plan, Forecast etc. every month

ii. Animate, coordinate Budget , LRP and Strat Plan

iii. Master data maintenance

iv. Closing entries, accruals preparation for P&L

Development & designing of tools, systems & methods

a. Develop and design tools, system and methods to improve analysis and ways of working.

b. Support implementation of Group new tools (E-Buy, MyTravel, SHIFT, TM1 ) and training

c. Contribute to Master data issue resolution.

d. Prepare & update analytical structure (cost centers, CFN structure etc.)

e. Address cost & legal topics with Accounting, SBS teams.

COMPLIANCE CONTROLLER

Internal Controls, Audits & Liaison / coordination role

a. Ensure the adherence to all applicable policies, procedures, laws and regulations

b. Support the external Audit Process and Inspections (E&Y, tax audit, Foreign Exchange audit etc)

c. Actively participate and support the site management to complete various site related evaluation, survey and other data for different Govt., Regulatory & Group agencies.

Inventories Management

a. Ensure full adherence to group & local Capital expense policies & SOPs

b. Follow-up Inventory and in coordination with Supply Chain propose action plans to reach targets

c. Ensure accurate Inventory valuation, write-offs, destruction approval workflows are in line with local and group guidelines.

d. Inventory stocktake, capitalization of variances, monitoring against Athena in line with

procedures.

e. Support the management team on strategic investment decisions like Product transfers, new products make or buy decision etc. and the impact of business changes.
