Responsibilities & duties

• Would be part of the NOC to support SE China Datacentre, sites, plants, warehouses and cloud in various network technologies, providing 1st level incident troubleshooting and participating in network changes & risk analysis to assure network services are delivered to pre-agreed OLA or SLA.

• Adhere to the processes and standards followed by the Schneider Connectivity team and the Regional China Digital IT.

• Identify potential network risks in the environment and drive improvement plans.

• Provide off business hour support for network incidents in China, Hong Kong and Taiwan.

• Participate in Network Capacity, Incident, Change

• Perform network troubleshooting to isolate and diagnose network availability and capacity problems, monitor network to ensure network availability to pre-agreed Service Levels and perform necessary maintenance to support network availability

• Perform network modelling, analysis, and planning.

• Ensure network services are structured to the centralised operational model for Connectivity NOC team.

• Perform support for by leverage vendor support for tasks associated with supporting a Network Environment, this included Install, configure, and support Cisco WAN, LAN, Wireless, Firewall, DNS, IPT infrastructure

• Write and maintain documentation of network inventory list, analysis, forecast, operation dashboard

• Network Carrier and vendor management

• Up to 15% travel may be required

Experience

• 3+ years of Cisco and other technologies as they are related to , and Telecommunications
• Strong understanding of Cisco Routers, Switches, Wireless and firewall
  equipment
• Strong networking basics
• Exposure working with globally diverse teams
• Better to have experience on Checkpoing or Paloalto firewall platform
• Better to have the knowledge of internet proxy and PAC file
