This position is responsible and accountable for servo motors product management globally. To develop the business through global markets exploration; new products launch to meet market demand, and enhance the collaboration with ABB Drives and B&R for a highly competitive motion control system.

1. Understand the global marketplace and define ABB’s planned position in each geographic, industry and application sector.

2. Define product scope and definition based on market study and collaboration with customers inside and outside of ABB.

3. Build up partnership with other ABB business units for a highly competitive motion control system provider. Ensure strategy and implementation progress of servo motors are aligned with other business partners.

4. Prioritize product development projects. Ensure that there is a clear product plan which is consistent with the business requirements.

5. Position product by understanding market needs, cost constraints and profitability targets. Be responsible for product line profitability.

6. Define and drive Marketing and Communication requirements for the product offering.

7. Lead competence building, organize content and scope of product training.

1. Bachelor degree or above, majoring in engineering or marketing or its equivalent.

2. Minimum of 8 years’ experience in industrial automation. Motion control experience preferred.

3. Minimum of 5 years’ experience of management. General management experience preferred.

4. Excellent Chinese and English

5. Strong skills in business presentation and interpersonal communication

6. Strong experience in product management and sales. Basic knowledge in R&D, finance and operations.

7. Strategic thinking with ability to execute strategy and initiate changes. Ability to motivate and guide sales team, and other functions.
