Reason of Being - Mission

To be part of digitization efforts in Schneider-Electric, we have launched a Program called Information Systems Upgrade in Purchasing Function, the aim of which is not only to upgrade the technology but also the business practices to serve for our company program, Life is ON.

Within Information Systems upgrade, there are 5 streams inside. And Purchasing Analytics project is the earliest one among the five that have been kicked off with topics including SPEND Analytics, Supplier Performance Metrics, Realized Saving, ect..

PRISM is the Analytics tool of Purchasing Analytics Project extracting data from SDH (Schneider Data Hub) connected with different applications and ERPs.

Business Intelligence Testing Leader is responsible for designing the BI testing strategy to achieve the goal and effective implementation of the testing plan designed to ensure the success of the project deliverables.

Major Tasks and Job Responsibilities

1. Build up appropriate testing strategy for Purchasing Analytics project in order to ensure

§ we have the correct focus and business buy-in.

§ we test the right things to validate the organization's most important business priorities

§ we assessed potential business impacts and failure points in our strategy

§ we employed the right test approach to validate the different technologies and address integrations and customizations

§ we understand our stakeholders reporting needs

§ Given the budget and scope, we have the correct resourcing, test cycles, strategies and tools

§ the acceptance criterial are well defined

2. Build or leverage conditions to support successful testing (Data alignment and data models; Engaging business teams early to validate the test scope, strategy, and priorities; System-wide refresh strategy, ect.)

3. Create test plans that clarifies scope, risk, timelines, resourcing, goals and objectives of testing, automation priorities, etc. and write test scripts to ensure the successful delivery of the result

4. Lead, coordinate and participate the test implementation (functional test and performance test) and documentation (Test script, Test case, test report)

5. Formalize the whole testing process and ramp-up the testing skills of people involved

Competency Required

* B.S. in Computer Science or related area of study

* 3+ years’ experience on testing

* Familiar with basic theory of testing and testing methodology commonly used

* Familiar with testing process and procedure

* Knowledge on BI (Birst, Tableau, SQL Server, Qlikview,ect.)

* Business Intelligence Project experience is a plus

* Purchasing experience is a plus

* Advanced English in both speaking and writing
