Description:
Development and implementation of environment, safety and occupational health policies, programs, supervision, trainings and documentation updating so as to ensure site EHS affairs achieve applicable EHS standards, local laws and regulations.
Actively participate in the environment, health and safety activities, meetings and trainings in order to be in accordance with government requirements and company polices.
Provide technical and specialized EHS advice, suggestions and solution measures on EHS issues to different departments.
Be responsible for EHS routine work such as special equipment inspection, work permit management, PPE consulting, EHS monitoring etc.
Duties & Responsibilities:
1. Training & Drill
Develop and deliver EHS annual master training (such as EHS orientation for the new comers, annual EHS topic training, e-learning, EHS SOP training, annual emergency evacuation drill, fire-fighting safety training, first-aid etc..)
2.Meeting & Inspection/Audit
-Attend EHS section of cross function meeting.
-Prepare and attend EHS committee meeting.
-Member of training coordinator, change control meeting, supplier meeting, canteen and shuttle committee meeting, BPE Champion etc.Organize EHS inspection and regularly EHS internal audit.
-Assist purchasing department in supplier qualification inspection periodically.
-Be responsible for dealing with external or internal audit and CAPA follow up.
3.SOP and Documentation
-Review EHS related SOP periodically and keep the documents regularly being updated. Set up related SOP with the compliance of national laws.
-Review change control and URS.
-Review SOP of other departments related with EHS.
4.Special equipment, work permit, PPE consulting and EHS monitoring management.
-Supply compliance support and consulting for special equipment management.
-Work permit management such as work at high, hot work, confined space work etc.
-PPE consulting and evaluation. EHS monitoring and checking, such as yearly occupational health checking, occupational hazards monitoring and wastewater sampling and testing etc.
5.Tasks from Corporate & BI CHINA EHSS team and authorities.
-Tasks such as the EHS related licenses, permits, regulatory records and reports, surveys management according to the requirements of corporate and authorities, dealing with the regular visits and inspections organized by local authorities.
-Support and put forward BE Safe/BE Green/BE Health in BISPL. Provide EHS technical support for other BI business unit in Zhangjiang plant if necessary.
Requirements:
-Above 5 years’ experience in EHS function.
-Experience in pharmaceutical or chemical industry, especially in safety engineering.
-Knowledge and experience of production equipment used for the manufacture of medicinal products, also regarding work safety, occupational health and environmental protection.
-Authority and ability to lead personnel, inter-personal skills and organization skills.
-Act proactive/self-dependent, and ability to cope with stress situations.
-Skilled in the use of Office Software and Operation System (preferably Microsoft products).
