Title: Sr. Finance Analyst

Amazon is an inventive research and development company that designs and engineers’ high-profile, consumer electronics products, like the Kindle, Kindle Fire, Fire TV and Echo, etc. The products we design and engineer are easy-to-use and offer users benefits that are only made possible through tightly integrated digital technologies and wireless connectivity.

We’re looking for a smart, experienced, individual to support the key operational aspects of a consumer electronics focused business namely product design, research and supply chain management. Expect to get involved in supporting new projects and initiatives, driving performance, and helping to build plans for the future, as well as supporting regular reporting, forecasting, and general planning. The ideal candidate will be comfortable in a fast-paced, dynamic environment; will be a creative and analytical problem solver. The responsibility includes:

? Assists in setting standard policies and procedures, maintaining full compliance
? Works on critical projects that serve major parts of the business
? Serves as a team leader for medium and large scale projects
? Provides high level of support to business partners. Compiles and presents materials to senior management.
? Establishes and drives relationships with vendors or business partners and proactively address issues/concerns.
? Executes vision and goals for the team or department
? Works closely to support and advise the business, is depended on for providing supporting data to aide in decision making.

Basic Qualifications

? Deep understanding of the Financial Systems used at the company, e.g. Cognos, TM1, Data Warehouse, Excel, Access, etc.
? Demonstrates a strong understanding of business analysis and practices in making decisions.
? Has a deep understanding of the end users needs and incorporates that understanding into the work product.
? Expected to conduct analysis, forecasting, modeling. Can mentor and teach others
? Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university in business, finance, engineering or a related field. An MBA from a highly regarded business school and/or relevant professional accreditation is preferred.
? 10+ years of finance/accounting experience in an organization with world class processes. Strong financial reporting skills using Excel and experiences in developing process control.
? Excellent communication and organization skills.
? Ability to manage multiple tasks at once and a work ethic based on a strong desire to exceed expectations.
? The preferred candidate will also demonstrate attention to detail, strong problem solving skills, the ability to deal with ambiguity, and can work successfully and effectively on cross-functional team.
? Excellent command of both Mandarin and English is a must.

Preferred Qualifications
